IV Moderate Sedation

Also known as “twilight sleep,” this level of sedation helps you feel deeply relaxed during your dental procedure. Medication is given through an IV, and most patients remember little to nothing afterward. You’ll remain breathing on your own but fully comfortable throughout. IV sedation is commonly used for

  • Endodontic

  • Periodontal

  • Certain oral surgeries

General Anesthesia

General anesthesia allows patients to be fully asleep and pain-free for their procedure. It’s administered either through an IV or a mask, depending on the patient’s needs. This approach is often recommended for:

  • Young children

  • Patients with special needs

  • Individuals with significant dental or needle anxiety

We bring hospital-level monitoring and emergency equipment directly to your dental office, ensuring the same safety standards you’d find in a hospital or surgery center. We also tailor each anesthetic to the needs of each patient, factoring in their medical history and health status.

  • We ask that you arrive at the time specified by your dental office so that we have adequate time to prepare you for your surgery. We will do a focused physical examination and answer any outstanding questions. Before you are put under anesthesia, we will have you remove any contact lenses, dentures, or jewelry. While asleep, your anesthesiologist continuously monitors you from start to finish. You will be groggy for several hours after your procedure and will not be able to operate a vehicle or return to work until the next day.
